Location of the Royal Russell School
The Croydon Astronomical Society talks are held in the Junior Hall of the Royal Russell School, Coombe Lane, Croydon, Surrey.
Please note that there are two postcodes; CR9 5BX for map use, and CR0 5BX for SatNav use. The school entrance is about 450 metres west of the Gravel Hill roundabout, and 130 metres to your right from the Coombe Lane tram stop.
- Once inside the main school gate the car park entrance is 100 metres on the left.
- After parking proceed to the northern edge of the car park, towards the same school road that you drove along from the school gate. There is a pedestrian crossing - with the road barrier just to your right - which takes you directly to the junior school buildings, and the maroon framed glass double door entrance is directly in front of you.
- Once inside go through another set of maroon framed glass double doors to your left, and proceed directly forward to the end of the short corridor - down a few steps in the middle.
- The Junior Hall is then just to your left.
